Our Founders

In the fall of 2018, four Realtist members met to begin the task of formulating a Women’s Council Chapter in the state of Ohio. The task force members were Bernadette Gerren – Dayton, Yolanda Earley – Columbus, LaTrina Johnson – Dayton,, and Helen Robinson – Cincinnati, who completed the certification process.

Women’s Council of Ohio (WCOH) was officially chartered by Women’s Council of NAREB on January 12, 2019 in Columbus, Ohio. Madam Sharon Middlebrooks – Women’s Council President and Madam Lydia Pope – Chairwoman, Board of Governors officiated the ceremony. Our first thirty (30) members were honored as our “Founder’s Circle” which is signified by receiving the official Women’s Council pin and coveted Red/Pink/Black “Founder’s Circle” scarf. This Winter Wonderful event was consecrated with a beautiful full covering of snow for the delight of Madam President. This would not have been possible without the support of Realtist and friend, Union Savings Bank, who was a generous sponsor of WCOH to ensure the success of our Chapter and to promote the advancement of women and men in the real estate profession.
